LANS 2026 Compression Garment Funding Pilot Program

The purpose of this program is to assist Nova Scotians who require compression garments but face financial barriers in obtaining them. 

This program is intended to help cover costs that are not otherwise funded. A minimum of 25 applicants will be selected. Funding will vary based on cost of garment(s) to maximum reimbursement of $400. 

To apply, applicants must:

• Be a resident of Nova Scotia
• Have a diagnosis of lymphedema or chronic edema
• Require medically necessary compression garments
• Demonstrate financial need
• Provide supporting documentation, including a prescription from a qualified health professional
• Submit a complete application by the deadline June 30,2026
